iPhone 7 – case markings disappear if you use films

Using a foil for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus jet black cases leads to the disappearance of markings when removing.

I told you a few weeks ago that if you apply films on the case iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus jet black, part of the markings of the case, including the logo, remain on the foil when peeling it off. The problem has been confirmed by quite a large number of users of this type of product, and now we see that it is more serious than initially thought.

If you peel off the initially applied foil and stick another one, the markings disappear almost completely the moment you peel it off the case of your terminal. This could be a very big problem if you want to resell the terminal because people could be circumspect about buying it from you without markings.

In general, clones of iPhone terminals come without markings on the case, and a jet black iPhone 7 that does not have visible markings, or very little visible markings, can be mistaken for a clone. The problem is that since those markings are gone, it's impossible to reapply them because of the way the iPhone 7 case was designed.

No one knows why exactly these markings disappear from the case, but the paint used for them is considered to be the main reason for their disappearance. Unfortunately, Apple does not acknowledge this problem and will not do so, but it may modify the manufacturing process to permanently correct it in the future.
