Apple distances itself from the past in order to evolve

2016 was a year of great changes for the company Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC),, those from Cupertino taking the decision to part with some iconic elements of its products. Tim Cook seems to be starting to seriously leave his mark on Apple products, but unfortunately this means giving up some of the features made popular by Steve Jobs.

It all started with the big change in iOS 10 that made the system forgotten slide to unlock in favor of widgets that are available in LockScreen. Apple did not provide any motivation for the decision, but many people criticized it and saw it as a move against what Steve Jobs created for his company.

Now, with the new MacBook Pro, Apple has removed not one, but two product features, illuminated logo si startup sound, both of which have been in production for years. If not many people complain about the start-up sound, the disappearance of the illuminated logo is lamented by a larger number of people at the moment, but certainly in the future as well.

Apple is distancing itself from the past and iconic elements

Both the slide to unlock and the illuminated logo highlighted the iPhone terminals and the Apple Macs, but without these features, both products enter into anonymity. Any smartphone with a fingerprint reader can be unlocked just like an iPhone, and any ordinary laptop has a logo from the tablet mounted on its case.

Apple made its devices stand out from the competition with features of this kind, but now few things stand out. Perhaps die-hard fans will see the change as normal, but we are talking about elements that brought more recognition to Apple products wherever they were, they are now in short supply.

The problem is that from these few changes will come other more important ones, and in the end those from Apple could leave the products without features that many people appreciated. Despite this, evolution is natural, it's normal, and from time to time you have to part with the past in order to evolve.
