iPhone 8 will have 5-inch and 5.8-inch screens

iPhone 8 will be released in two versions that have screens of 5 inches and 5.8 inches, they being larger than those of the current models.

iPhone 8 it will have 5 inch and 5.8 inch screens according to some information that appeared during this day, they are not the first to suggest such an evolution for the iPhone screen. We are talking about a substantial increase in the iPhone 8 screen compared to the iPhone 7, but this does not mean that the size of the terminal will increase in any way.

The iPhone 8 will have a 5-inch screen, compared to the 4.7-inch iPhone 7, while the iPhone 8 Plus will have a 5.8-inch screen, compared to the 5.5-inch iPhone 7 Plus. The difference will be 0.3 inches for each type of new Apple smartphone compared to the previous generation, which is quite large.

Although Apple wants to make the iPhone 8 screen bigger, the dimensions will not increase because Apple will completely eliminate the side and upper/lower edges of the terminal. In this idea, the iPhone 8 screen would stretch from one edge to another of the case to display more information for users, probably with a higher resolution.

The interesting part, and bad at the same time, lies in the fact that only the iPhone 8 Plus would have an OLED screen, which I have also heard from other rumors. Probably, the implementation of an OLED screen would involve higher costs for the Apple company, and thus only models with a larger screen would benefit from such a component.

"iPhone 8 design didn't sound 100% locked down but we believe the move is to a bezel-less design with screen sizes getting larger and curved edges in the original envelope. The IP8 moves to 5″ (from 4.7″) and the Plus moves to 5.8″ (from 5.5″).”

To the same extent, the iPhone 8 Plus would also benefit from other exclusive functions, but both models of the iPhone 8 will have a screen that covers the entire front panel. Apple has not finalized the design of the iPhone 8, but we hear more and more rumors that suggest this change, a sign that there are prototypes of this kind tested by Apple.
