China threatens to stop iPhone sales

China threatens to reduce iPhone sales if Donald Trump imposes his fiscal policy against its products.

China takes a defensive position following the election of Donald Trump as US president, and American companies could seriously suffer. The local press claims that the Chinese authorities are determined to take measures that will substantially reduce sales iPhone, of cars produced in the USA and of other products manufactured on American territory.

The threat comes in response to those of Donald Trump, who stated that he intends to apply a 45% tax on products imported from China. With such an increase in sales prices, Chinese products will no longer be sought after by Americans, and the sales of local companies will drop considerably, and the economy will be seriously affected.

China is the most important trade partner of the USA, and Donald Trump's statements have created a lot of unrest in both countries. The Chinese have repeatedly warned that they will take harsh measures if Donald Trump is elected president and does everything he promised in the election campaign, and now he is probably making a last warning.

It is hard to say if Donald Trump will do everything he promised in the election campaign, but it is unlikely that this will happen, as he is already starting to "give back" in some ways. Having said that, here we see the first possible threats to the Apple company, and not only, after the election of Donald Trump as president of the USA.

"China will take a tit-for-tat approach then. A batch of Boeing orders will be replaced by Airbus. US auto and iPhone sales in China will suffer a setback, and US soybean and maize imports will be halted. China can also limit the number of Chinese students studying in the US."
