The Galaxy Note 7 could be put back on sale in 2017

Samsung wants to put the Galaxy Note 7 back on sale starting in 2017, with refurbished units being prepared.

The Samsung company intends to put it back on sale Galaxy Note 7 next year, despite the fact that it distributed units that exploded during simple use. Those from Samsung initially stated that all the terminals will be destroyed, but it seems that in reality things will be different compared to what had to be done initially by the Koreans.

More precisely, the Samsung company intends to put the Galaxy Note 7 back on sale next year, but in the form of refurbished terminals, not new ones. No one knows what Samsung will refurbish them, but it is speculated that it would either be about replacing the batteries, or about the implementation of other changes aimed at making the terminals safer.

Now if you think that Samsung will sell these Galaxy Note 7 terminals everywhere, well you are wrong, because they will only reach developing markets. Here we are most likely talking only about Africa, South America and some countries in Asia, because if there are incidents there, the world will probably not be so interested in them.

Basically, Samsung will use these countries to recover part of the losses generated by the Galaxy Note 7, and where else can you send a product meant for garbage, than in developing countries. Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 units will most likely be sold at low prices, so Samsung won't lose as much money.

"Samsung Electronics, which is reeling from battery explosions of its latest flagship smartphone Galaxy Note 7, is expected to sell the refurbished products of its handset from next year. The source anticipated the refurbished handsets will be mostly sold in emerging markets such as India and Vietnam where low-end and mid-range smartphones are popular."
