The Apple company has very big plans for the personal assistant Siri and wants to turn it into a kind of chat bot with which we will be able to talk in the Messages application of the iPhone. In a patent recently registered to those from Cupertino, the Apple company describes a method by which Siri can be displayed directly in the chat interface of the Messages application.
Based on the information provided by Apple, Siri could do everything it does now, but without opening a separate interface in which it gives us the answers to the commands. Practically, its entire functionality would be integrated in the Messages application and would be played automatically for us directly from the chat interface, from where we would be able to access certain data.
Siri could be played over any conversation with another person, or even in conversation groups, but the information could not be displayed for the interlocutors. Even so, Siri would analyze the conversation and could offer other suggestions for our commands, depending on the command, so everything would also depend on what the user wants.
Separately, some commands would allow the Siri assistant to access the data of the interlocutors, if they give their consent, and thus meetings could be established for the calendar, or locations where users can meet. More than that, Siri would also facilitate money transfers by analyzing the financial applications of each user, suggesting the common one to transfer money.
Apple has been describing a multitude of functions offered by Google Assistant or Facebook Messenger for some time, so it would not come up with anything new from this point of view. However, the integration of these functions would be beneficial and is certainly expected by many people, so it will be interesting to see if and when Apple decides to offer us something like this.

One or more of the participant users can choose to use a virtual assistant to assist the participant users with tasks during the communication session. A user can use a communication application to enter a message directed to the virtual assistant."
