iPhone 8 – the reason for using a glass case

The iPhone 8 will have a glass case because Apple wants to implement a wireless charging system for its new smartphone.

This week we saw new confirmations of the fact that Apple will use a glass case for its terminals iPhone 8, which will be launched on the market in the fall of this year. We are talking about two or three new models of the iPhone 8 that will be available starting from the autumn of next year, two of them may be cheaper than this year's.

However, the key element of this week's rumors has to do with the fact that the iPhone 8 will have a glass case, in fact all models will have this change. The Apple company will do it not because it wants to offer us a glass case again, but because it wants to implement a wireless charging system for the new smartphone.

Although various Android manufacturers have implemented this technology even if their terminals have aluminum casings, Apple wants to do it slightly differently. Apple will use a glass case to be able to offer us a wireless charging system that is faster than those of competitors, or at least that's what the rumors that have appeared so far tell us.

iPhone 8 – the reason for using a glass case

This week we were told that Apple wants to implement this fast wireless charging system, which theoretically allows us to charge our terminals faster than the standard cable. Details about this system developed by the Apple company are not known, apart from the fact that it should be able to be developed by those from pegatron, which assembles iPhones, iPads and more.

How Apple will create this system for the iPhone 8 is difficult to explain, but for now we are only talking about rumors regarding prototypes still in development. Despite this, the implementation of a wireless charging system seems as safe as possible at the moment, but it remains to be seen how fast the charging will be.
