iPhone 8 could have curved OLED screen

iPhone 8 could have a curved OLED screen, but also with a higher resolution, Apple trying to differentiate its products from Samsung.

iPhone 8 it could be launched by the Apple company with a curved screen, which is not the first time we hear about this product. Those from Apple would intend to use a curved OLED screen in the future iPhone model, and this to the satisfaction of an extremely large number of fans who buy iPhone terminals every year.

At the moment, Apple is testing 10 prototypes of the iPhone 8 in order to launch them on markets around the world, this being as normal as possible. Apple tests a lot of prototypes before launching a final model on global markets, so out of these 10, one or two will remain and go into production in August next year.

Of all these 10 iPhone 8 prototypes, Apple is testing at least one that has an integrated curved OLED screen, but it is not sure if it will be released that way. It is not known how many of these iPhone 8 terminals have OLED screens, despite the fact that Apple asked its partners to increase the production of OLED screens.

Apple Inc.'s suppliers say they have been asked to increase the output of thinner organic light emitting displays and submit prototype screens with better resolution than ones from Samsung to differentiate its models. The Cupertino, Calf., company has been battling slowing smartphone sales and is under pressure to deliver a hit phone when the iPhone…”

Apple will first want to test these high-resolution OLED screens in iPhone 8 prototypes, and if the tests are successful, then a final version will be chosen. Whether it will reach the market in 2017 or 2018 remains to be seen, but it is clear that Apple wants to make major changes for the iPhone 8, even if not all models will have them.

Having said that, what do you think about Apple's intentions?
