Apple is preparing new Mac models for release

The Apple company is developing new Mac models at the moment, these being discovered thanks to the testing that Apple is doing in macOS 10.2.2 beta. More precisely, three new AMD graphics cards were discovered in the source code of macOS 10.12.2 beta, these being Polaris 10, Polaris 12 and Vega 10, the current Macs not having any integrated.

No one knows yet what news will be brought by the graphics cards that the Apple company is going to offer for the new Mac models, nor in which products they could be integrated. Considering that the iMac and MacBook 12 inch are the only ones that have not been updated for several months and at least 1 year, they will most likely be updated with these components.

All three new graphics cards could be based on completely new AMD architectures, so they could have impressive performances. Of course, they must also consume very little energy to be implemented in the MacBook 12, but the integration in the iMac only implies a substantial increase in performance.

Considering that Apple is testing these new graphics cards right now in its products, there is a very good chance that the new Macs will be launched in the first part of next year. From Apple's partners there are no details about what we could receive, but we will probably talk about an update that will also bring Intel's new Kaby Lake processors.
