WhatsApp will launch a new application for iPhone, Android and Windows Phone, which is currently under development within the company owned by Facebook. We are talking about an application created by WhatsApp especially for companies that use the messaging platform to communicate with their customers.
Facebook already has a platform dedicated to companies, and WhatsApp will have a similar one that it will make available to them in the not too distant future. BIZ is the name that WhatsApp currently uses for this platform, with versions for iPhone, Android and Windows Phone of the application being available at the moment.
Why does WhatsApp need a business version? Well, because Facebook will most likely allow the use of virtual robots in WhatsApp. Companies will be able to communicate various information to customers through these robots and could also use them to promote various products, without displaying advertising banners in the application.

The application for companies will most likely have a different set of functions that are not useful for ordinary users and will not be able to be used by them. For now, there are no details about what these functions could offer, but they will probably be revealed in the near future by those from the WhatsApp company.
Unfortunately, it seems that in the not too distant future WhatsApp will be attacked by companies, which will be allowed to send messages to users through virtual robots, including advertisements. WhatsApp is changing before our eyes and unfortunately it is not doing it for the better, those from Facebook are now looking for new ways to generate money from the application used by more than 1 billion people.
