An iPhone 6S caught fire while charging

A new iPhone 6S it caught fire while it was being loaded, or at least that's what the owner claims, who recorded the pictures below for the whole world. You can notice that we are talking about a terminal whose battery really swelled and partially melted inside the case, the screen appears to be intact, but the back of the case is not shown.

The person who owns this iPhone 6S claims that the terminal was taken while it was charging, but the incident does not seem to have caused material or physical damage to it. Also, it is not specified whether an original charger from the Apple company, or from an authorized partner, was used, or the charging was done with an unauthorized charger.

Considering that so far it has been proven that problems of this kind with Apple terminals occur due to the use of unauthorized chargers, or the application of force on the terminals, it is difficult to say what the cause is now. However, we include this iPhone 6S among those that caught fire during use and add another black ball for Apple.

Recently, the iPhone 6S was in the middle of a huge scandal after Apple admitted that these terminals have defective batteries and generate random shutdowns of the devices. Of course, it is better to have your terminal shut down than to catch fire while you are using it, and Apple has initiated a program through which it replaces the batteries of certain iPhone 6S models for free.

Having said that, what do you think is the cause of this new incident with an iPhone 6S that caught fire?
