Nexus 6P crashes randomly with Android 7

Nexus 6P it randomly shuts down after installing Android 7, even though there is enough energy in the battery for the terminal to continue working without problems. This problem appeared just a few weeks after Apple officially acknowledged that iPhone 6S randomly shuts down when it still has power in the battery, so Apple products are not the only ones with problems.

The Nexus 6P is manufactured by Huawei for Google, and after installing Android 7, users started to complain about this random shutdown problem. Those who are affected by this problem claim that the terminals close when they have between 10% and 60% of the battery available, so the problem is similar to that of the iPhone 6S.

The even worse part is that the people who went back from Android 7 to Android 6 realized that the problem did not disappear, it persisted, but only when it is very cold outside. This suggests that the problem could be a hardware one, with Huawei telling Nexus 6P users that the problem has nothing to do with them and that they should talk to Google.

Huawei says that the problem is not a hardware one, although the downgrade from Android 7 to Android 6 does not solve it, and Google does not have it very high on the list of priorities. No one knows why now the Nexus 6P shuts down out of the blue, especially on old versions of the Android operating system, but battery problems seem to affect almost all manufacturers.
