iOS 10.2 jailbreak is expected by many people at the moment since a jailbreak solution has already been released for iOS 10.1.1. During yesterday, new information appeared regarding the possible launch of an iOS 10.2 jailbreak solution, the hacker who published the jailbreak solution for iOS 10.1.1 providing the information.
According to him, an iOS 10.2 jailbreak solution is not planned for release yet, but this version of the operating system is still vulnerable. He claims that he has exploits that allow him to jailbreak iOS 10.2 on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, but he does not intend to lose them to do a public good.
Despite all this information, the hacker recommends us to save SHSH2 files at the moment for a possible release of an iOS 10.2 jailbreak solution. He recommends saving them mainly for terminals released before iPhone 7, those with 32-bit chips having the highest chances to benefit from an iOS 10.2 jailbreak solution first.
iOS 10.2 jailbreak - when will it be released?
Although we are advised to save SHSH2 files for a possible iOS 10.2 jailbreak, for now no one knows when such software will be offered to us. Unfortunately, I think it is unlikely that an iOS 10.2 jailbreak solution will appear soon, especially since iOS 10.3 it is going to be offered in beta version from next week by those from Apple.
I wouldn't want you to get your hopes up too high regarding the release of a possible iOS 10.2 jailbreak solution, even if you save SHSH2 files. Despite this, it is advisable to save them because you may enjoy the possibility of at least restoring to iOS 10.2 in the future if a solution is released after the release of iOS 10.3.

A jailbreak for 10.2 is not planned, but it is still vulnerable to the underlying technique used, so it's the second best fw.
