Apple today announced its annual promotion campaign for the Chinese New Year and offers customers free Beats headphones with the purchase of iPhones or Macs. More precisely, for certain iPhones and Macs available in the offer, the Apple company offers free Beats Solo3 wireless on-ear headphones for customers when they purchase one of the products in those 2 categories.
The new promotion will be held in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore on January 6, so all customers of the local Apple Stores will be able to benefit from it. To receive a pair of Beats Solo3 wireless headphones, customers must purchase an iMac, MacBook, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro. Mac Pro, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, or iPhone 7 Plus.
As you can see, this product category does not include MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, or Mac Mini, but this was somewhat expected. The new model of the MacBook Pro was released too little time ago to enter a promotion of this kind, while the Mac Mini is too cheap for such a promotion, so Apple's decision can be explained in this way.
