CES 2017: Kingston launched a 2TB USB stick

CES 2017 brings us from Kingston the USB stick with the largest storage space available at the moment, more precisely 2 TB to carry any kind of data with us. We are talking about a Kingston USB stick that is capable of reaching USB 3.1 speeds for data transfer, so we will be able to copy any kind of files to it in a very short time.

DataTraveler Ultimate GT is the name of the new USB stick to be demonstrated by Kingston at CES 2017, so we are also talking about a name that matches the performance. In 2013 Kingston released the DataTraveler HyperX Predator with 1TB of storage space, so it took over 3 years to release something that would offer double the space for Kingston customers around the world.

This USB stick is protected by a zinc case, which protects it much better than a plastic one in case of an impact during use. As you can see in the image below, the DataTraveler Ultimate GT is much thicker than a standard USB stick, so users will have to overlook this aspect to enjoy the technology in it.

The Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate GT will most likely have a retail price of over $1000 after it is officially unveiled at CES 2017. The launch of the Kingston DataTraveler Ultimate GT is scheduled to take place in February, but so far no one has has no details on its availability.
