Digi Mobil announced during this day that it exceeded the threshold of 3 million customers in Romania, its subscriber base being made up of both individuals and legal entities. We are talking here about 3 million Digi Mobil clients, individuals and legal entities, 1 million of the subscribers being ported in recent years from the other competing networks in Romania.
In just 3 years since the relaunch of the Digi Mobil service in Romania, the operator managed to reach a number of subscribers that represents almost a third of that of Telekom or Orange. The achievement is an impressive one for those from Digi Mobil and the operator has the merit of selling services at very low prices, which made mobile phone subscriptions cheaper in Romania, for everyone.
With 3 million active customers in the Digi Mobil network, the operator announces that it currently has 97% coverage through the 3G network for Romania, thanks to the Vodafone network usage agreement. Regarding Digi Mobil 4G coverage, it reached 37%, and the operator promises to continue making serious investments to expand its coverage.

For several years, Digi Mobil has had the cheapest mobile phone subscriptions in Romania, with the most benefits offered to customers, from all points of view. Although Digi Mobil offers very good benefits for customers, unfortunately the quality of the services is limited by the low prices, but things will probably improve in the future.

We are certain that we will permanently improve mobile services, the investment in 4G technology being now a priority, so that we can reach as many users as possible with it. Thus, we will be able to support without any problem the increase in traffic of current customers, as well as the traffic of new customers who will choose us."
Digi Mobil has made serious investments in Romania to increase its customer base, and at the moment it ranks fourth on the telecom market. The distance between Digi Mobil and Vodafone, the operator placed in the third position, is more than 5 million customers, so it is hard to say if Digi Mobil will ever succeed in surpassing them from any point of view.
