Probably few of you know that iFixit, the famous service that disassembles every Apple product, has been active for over 10 years. Their idea of presenting disassembly of various gadgets is old, and in 2007 they even disassembled the iPhone 2G to show the whole world what is hidden inside.
In the image below you can see a completely disassembled iPhone 2G, receiving a score of 2 out of 10 in terms of the ease with which it can be repaired. This is not at all surprising, considering that at that time Apple was at the first smartphone and had not emphasized the easy repair of the products it sold.
From the iPhone 2G to the iPhone 3G, Apple still made major changes, so the second device received a score of 7 out of 10 in terms of the ease with which it can be repaired. Since then, Apple has remained constant regarding the ease with which its iPhone terminals can be repaired, and this is beneficial for everyone.
