Romania is among the countries where the cheapest iPhones are sold

A study recently carried out by a retailer from Mexico shows us which of the countries in the world have the cheapest iPhone terminals at the moment. The study is as strange as possible, because it presents Angola as the country where there are the cheapest iPhone terminals on the planet, which is only credible if we are talking about very old models.

Japan is the penultimate country where we find very cheap iPhone terminals, followed by China and Finland, the average selling price in all these countries being less than 500 dollars. It is interesting that in Romania the average selling price of the iPhone is 514 dollars, but this probably also includes old terminals such as the iPhone 5S, which are much cheaper than that.

On the other side of the study, we find Venezuela, where an iPhone costs 100.000 dollars due to very high import taxes on products that are not manufactured in the country. Most of the countries in this part of the study have high taxes for the import of products that are manufactured in other areas of the globe, with the exception of Norway or Singapore.

To be completely honest, the very low prices discovered in some countries are most likely based on the fact that very old and very cheap iPhone terminals are still being sold there. Subscription offers from mobile phone operators were also not taken into account, many from abroad offering the devices for free, or at low prices, with expensive subscriptions.
