iPhone 8 it will not be released on the market too soon, but it already leaves a very large "shadow" over the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which were launched last fall by Apple. The terminals had a supposedly surprising start, but their evolution in 2017 is "braked" by the rumors announcing the launch of a truly exceptional iPhone 8.
American analysts have already started to promote this idea regarding iPhone 8, so they believe that iPhone 7 sales will be small in the next two fiscal quarters. Analysts believe that the huge interest in iPhone 8 will convince many people not to look at iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus until the fall, and this could be true.
Various rumors that have appeared so far suggest that the iPhone 8 will have an OLED screen, for the first time, which will cover almost the entire front panel. Moreover, for the iPhone 8, Apple intends to: implement including a fast charging system, possibly also wirelessly; offer greater water resistance, or substantially improve the battery and the processor.

Adding to all this a much changed design for the iPhone 8, users would be extremely tempted to overlook the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus for a better smartphone. Of course, no one guarantees that the iPhone 8 will be as exciting as the rumors make it out to be, but this would not be the first time that the rumors would be right.
Because the iPhone 8 is expected to be so great, analysts are already discounting Apple's stock prices for the next two months, but also predicting a drop in sales compared to 2016. Considering that 2016 was worse than 2015, we would talk about a setback for Apple and about a problem that will seriously affect its earnings in 2017.
Of course, for 2018 the analysts announce increases in iPhone sales thanks to the iPhone 8, but that's what they announced last winter for 2017 after the launch of the iPhone 7. The truth is somewhere in the middle, so it remains to be seen what Apple will offer us.
