Google Voice update brings many changes for iPhone

The Google Voice application for iPhone was updated this evening by Google, bringing many changes for its users. Google implemented a major change for the interface of the Google Voice application available for the iPhone and the Android platform, the web version also benefiting from the update.

This is the biggest update in recent years for the Google Voice application, and Google promises to offer us many more in the not too distant future. The changes for the interface of the Google Voice application are based on a new inbox that displays separate tabs for messages, calls or voice messages from the phone box.

For sending text messages, there is now the option to share pictures via MMS as well, the search system being useful both for messages and for the call list. Separately, the Google Voice app now has a spam filter for all types of communications, plus support for transcribing messages from Spanish.

The update of the Google Voice application for iPhone will be available in the following days in the AppStore.
