The Apple company has registered with the American authorities a new mysterious product that we only know has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. The documentation published by the new product registration authorities confirms this new device from Apple, although it doesn't offer many details about what the device itself is supposed to be.
The Apple company requested the registration of this device in January of this year, with the model number A1846. In September 2016, Apple requested the registration of a similar device, but which had the model number A1844, so we are most likely talking about two devices that belong to the same category and have the same design.
This model number is not associated with any existing Apple product and of course there are no pictures of this mysterious American device. However, an image showing part of a product suggests that it will have a case with slightly curved edges, but no one knows what kind of device it would be.
Last year it was speculated that this device would be a new model of Apple TV, but the speculations quickly stopped after an analysis of the only information provided. It is speculated that in reality this product would be an internal product that would only be used by Apple employees, but this information is not certain either.
No one knows what will happen with this device, but it will be interesting to see what Apple will announce about it.
