Roaming disappears from Europe starting June 15

Roaming tariffs disappear from Europe starting from June 15, Europeans being able to use their mobile phones almost without restrictions in any EU country.

Mark the date of June 15 in your calendar, because from that point we will no longer have roaming in Europe and we will be able to use mobile phone subscriptions abroad in approximately the same way as in the country. The European Commission managed to reach an agreement with mobile phone operators, and starting with June 15, we will see major changes.

According to representatives of the European Commission, roaming gives way to a market where customers will be able to communicate more easily regardless of the country they are in, but with certain limits. More precisely, we are talking about limits regarding internet traffic, here the mobile phone operators offer only a certain number of MB of use in predefined periods.

Separately, the use of the mobile phone in any country in Europe will be possible without thinking about how much you will pay for each minute consumed in use. The change is perfect for those who travel a lot and make many phone calls from outside Romania to our country, or to local numbers, their costs will be reduced to those of the subscription or card.

Roaming disappears from Europe starting June 15

This disappearance of roaming tariffs in Europe has been negotiated for more than 2 years, and finally we have a favorable agreement for everyone. All mobile phone operators in Europe are obliged to accept the conditions imposed by the European Commission, so that regardless of the operator used, the situation will be the same.

Practically, all offers with international minutes from our subscriptions will disappear completely, but this does not mean that the subscriptions will become cheaper with their disappearance. Theoretically, this would be normal, but mobile phone operators will not act like this, but at least we will be able to enjoy our phones wherever we travel.

"This was the last piece of the puzzle. As of June 15, Europeans will be able to travel in the EU without roaming charges. We have also made sure that operators can continue competing to provide the most attractive offers to their home markets."

Without roaming in Europe, the use of mobile phones will definitely increase and some operators may have problems with the networks, but everything is part of the normal evolution on the European level.
