Windows 10 will have support for picture in picture

Windows 10 will have a new Compact Overlay function that provides support for the picture in picture system, so popular in tablets.

Windows 10, one of the most popular operating systems on the planet, is going to have support for the picture in picture system available on tablets. More precisely, we are talking about a very popular function on Android and iOS tablets, Windows 10 will offer it officially for all users around the world in the next period.

Microsoft has announced that the new feature for Windows 10 will be officially launched in April, and it will be called Compact Overlay on computers. The Compact Overlay feature for Windows 10 will be available to all developers who produce universal Windows applications, but those with video streaming or video calling will have support for it.

Using the new Compact Overlay function for Windows 10, users will have the opportunity to see a video stream over any other application open on the computer. In iOS and Android, the function allows us to see video streams in windows over other applications open on tablets, so in Windows 10 we have something similar, but in a better format.

Separately, from this function for Windows 10, the American company is testing one called Dynamic Lock, which allows locking the computer with a smartphone. The computer with Windows 10 will interconnect with a Windows Phone via Bluetooth, and when it moves away from the PC, it will be automatically blocked, which is very useful in many situations.

Considering that the new Compact Overlay function for Windows 10 will be launched in April, we will most likely find out more information about it by then.
