Apple has finished filming its first TV show

The Apple company has recently completed filming for its first TV show called Planet Of The Apps and we are talking about a show that aims to promote the application ecosystem. Those from Apple chose developers with good ideas to create applications that will change the world, and in Planet Of The Apps they had the opportunity to receive the help of entrepreneurs to put their ideas into practice.

Although the show has the format of a TV show, it will still be distributed through Apple Music, as Apple is currently in full post-production. The filming took place in a studio set up by the Apple people near Hollywood, and one of those who participated in the filming claims that Apple has achieved something unique, at least in terms of setting up the studio.

Planet of the Apps is produced by Ben Silverman, Howard Owens and will.i.am, and to give you a clearer idea of its purpose, it resembles Shark Tank, or The Voice. More than 100.000 developers applied to participate in the show, but only 1000 were chosen, and among them a new, much more rigorous selection was made before filming began.

Gary Vaynerchuk, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba and will.i.am were the entrepreneurs who helped the developers turn their ideas into reality, and the work seems to have been quite interesting. The show also has a very well-known presenter, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, but it was disclosed that at least one of the winners receives 10 million dollars and promotion in the AppStore.

Planet of the Apps wants to be a show aimed at convincing developers to create more applications, and with such large sums offered by Apple, it's easy to understand why.

"Apple built the set and tore it down at the conclusion of filming. The set was absolutely beautiful and set up in a way like no other competition show I've seen before. It's very tech chic, with beautiful decor and decorations. Only Apple could do it this way. It's very, very well done. Steve Jobs would have been proud of the set."
