A MacBook Pro caught fire due to the battery

A MacBook Pro caught fire due to the battery while the user was browsing the Internet without being connected to any power source at the time. The user was sitting in bed at those moments and was quietly browsing websites, when his MacBook Pro shut down, started to heat up strongly, emit smoke, catch fire, and you can see the final result in the images.

Maybe the user's mistake was trying to restart his MacBook Pro immediately after it shut down out of nowhere, but I think any of us would have made a similar "mistake". The problem is of course with the Apple company, which should not have launched a MacBook Pro from the very beginning whose batteries could catch fire during normal use.

The MacBook Pro was quickly taken to the bathroom and left on the floor while emitting heavy smoke and burning, exploding at one point and breaking the protective cover at the base of the laptop. It took an hour for the MacBook Pro to "calm down", but in the meantime the man's house was filled with toxic smoke, and he also suffered from burns on his fingers.

It is not known if the man contacted Apple for a possible replacement of the MacBook Pro, but there are quite high chances that this will happen. The Apple company is certainly aware of this incident, and since the battery caught fire when the laptop was being used for Internet browsing, it is clear that the problem does not come from the user.
