The iPhone SE is returned to Apple before the series update

The iPhone SE entered a collection process by the Apple company, those from Cupertino asking their partners in the USA to return their stocks of unsold terminals. More specifically, a large chain of US stores, Target, had until today to return stocks of iPhone SE terminals with 16 and 64 GB of storage space.

Why Apple requested this was not learned from Target employees, but a rumor that appeared last week indicates that Apple is going to update the iPhone SE. We are not talking about the improvement of all internal components, but only about an increase in the storage space that the iPhone SE is going to offer for Apple customers.

More precisely, the iPhone SE would be sold in versions with 32 GB and 128 GB of storage space, instead of those with 16 GB and 64 GB, which Apple currently sells. Basically, Apple would double the storage space offered to iPhone SE customers, bringing the series to the same level as the iPhone 7, which offers exactly the same options for the first two models.

Although there can be many explanations for this decision by Apple to request the return of the iPhone SE terminals offered for distribution, updating the series seems the most logical option. Apple will organize a conference this month to announce the new models of the iPhone SE, but for now we do not know the date on which it will take place, nor the location.
