iPhone 8 and the pressure exerted by the Samsung Galaxy S8

iPhone 8 raises very high expectations at the moment, with even greater pressure being put on by the Samsung Galaxy S8, officially presented yesterday.

iPhone 8 is announced for release in the fall of this year, but until then, the Samsung Galaxy S8 has been announced and puts a lot of pressure on the future Apple smartphone. We are talking here about the fact that the iPhone 8 will have to be at least as good as Samsung's new flagship, otherwise it risks being ridiculed after it is officially presented by Apple.

The iPhone 8 is announced as having a screen that covers almost the entire front panel, a 3D front camera with infrared sensors, wireless charging, a glass case and a changed design. A good part of these changes can be found in the Samsung Galaxy S8 even now, some functions being offered by those from Samsung since a few years ago.

However, despite this, the Samsung Galaxy S8 has raised the bar for the iPhone 8 by a lot, and those from Apple must be very aware of this. Even if many people do not see Samsung terminals as premium, iPhone 8 will not be very successful if it does not bring radical changes, as we have been told for several months.

iPhone 8 and the pressure exerted by the Samsung Galaxy S8

If the iPhone 8 will not have everything we were told in the rumors, which bring it at least on par with the Samsung Galaxy S8, then the disappointment will be very big. Apple has reheated the soup for 3 years with iPhone 6, iPhone 6S and iPhone 7, but it will not get away in 2017 with an iPhone 7S that does not come with anything really worthy of our attention, and using the same design for the fourth year in a row will seriously affect Apple's sales.

iPhone 8 must have a new design, it must have functions that we have found in Samsung terminals for years, it must have an acceptable price, otherwise Apple risks being ridiculed. The 10-year anniversary of the launch of the iPhone must come with major changes and not only because Samsung is putting a lot of pressure on Apple, but also because a change is needed.

It's been more than 3 years since I felt like I was getting something really new when I buy the latest iPhone model and I'm sure many have the same opinion. If the iPhone 8 will continue this trend, then I expect Apple to really feel the bad mistakes.
