Apple TV 4 will have a number of interesting functions in tvOS 11

tvOS 11 is to be presented at the beginning of June by the Apple company along with a series of new functions for Apple TV 4 and users around the world. According to some information that appeared during the past days, tvOS 11 will bring the possibility to see Picture-in-Picture videos on Apple TV 4, but also support for multiple user accounts.

In the images below you can see how the new interface of tvOS 11 for Apple TV 4 could look, it will allow users to log in with multiple Apple IDs. Apple's idea is to give several people in a house the opportunity to have a personalized experience of using Apple TV 4 with special recommendations for each and a separate arrangement of applications.

Switching from one user account to another would be extremely easy, as if changing a simple channel, the Apple company offering something similar on the iPad since iOS 9.3, but only for the educational environment. Apart from these, tvOS 11 for Apple TV 4 will also include a Picture-in-Picture module that will allow the display of video content over the application interface.

Apple already has a similar function in the iPad, allowing a YouTube clip from one application to be displayed over the interface of another application in the iPad, using Picture-in-Picture mode. On Apple TV 4, the Picture-in-Picture function would be much more useful because customers would see the content on much larger screens than those of the iPhone or iPad, so they would have a much better user experience.

All these news for tvOS 11 and Apple TV 4 are to be presented by the Apple company at WWDC 2017, which will take place at the beginning of June in San Francisco.
