iMovie, GarageBand and iWork for macOS and iOS are offered for free

Starting today, all iMovie, GarageBand and iWork suite applications for macOS and iOS are offered free of charge by Apple for all iDevice users. Until now, those from Cupertino offered these applications to customers who bought a new iDevice, those who had old terminals being obliged to pay to be able to use the applications.

Starting today, everyone who owns an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, or Mac can download for free any of the iMovie, GarageBand, and iWork suite applications for macOS and iOS using an Apple ID. The change was made after Apple updated all these applications through the AppStore, so users don't have to do anything to enjoy them.

Basically we are talking about the Pages, Keynote, Numbers, GarageBand and iMovie applications that all customers can download for free, they offer a very different functionality. Those from Apple promote the iWork suite as an alternative to the Microsoft Office suite, while the GarageBand and iMovie applications are useful for creating music or movies from iDevices/Macs.

All these applications are available for free download from the AppStore.
