Apple Watch has turned 2 years old

Today marks 2 years since the official launch of the Apple Watch, the first smartwatch developed by the Apple company for those who want wearables. Although at the time many people said that the Apple Watch would not be successful in a smartwatch market that was just at the beginning, 2 years later, the Apple product is the most popular smartwatch on the market.

Apple has launched two more Apple Watch models in these 2 years and enjoys higher sales than any other competitor on the market. The success of the Apple Watch is mainly due to the very large base of fans of the Apple company, but also to the functions it offers for those who have iPhone terminals, smartphone addiction still being part of Apple's strategy.

The Apple Watch doesn't have the "shine" of an iPhone, nor close sales, but it still generates consistent revenue for Apple and a fair amount of attention. Apple Watch didn't evolve much in the second version and probably won't have a huge leap in the third, but at the moment it doesn't really have a serious competitor on the market.

The Apple Watch wanted to be a departure from the "normal" for the Apple company, but until now those from Cupertino have only demonstrated that they are capable of doing something different, but which cannot match the iPhone. Apple Watch remains an interesting product of Apple, but it is hard to say how long it will have the full attention of those from Cupertino.
