A Foxconn employee details life on the iPhone production line

More than a week ago, I told you about a current student of the university in New York who worked in one of the factories that assemble iPhone terminals. In the video clip below you can also see his testimony about the time spent there, talking about some of the secrets behind such a job and what it entails.

The student worked 12 hours a day and lived mainly in the dormitory near the factory, the living conditions there being extremely bad. As many as 8 people slept in overlapping beds in one room and were obliged to share with almost 200 other people a single bathroom, a single kitchen and a single laundry in the respective dormitories.

The employees were treated badly by the managers in the factories, they had restrictions regarding the lifestyle, and in general they left the workplace after 2 weeks or a month after employment. You can find more details in the video clip below.
