Apple increases the prices of iPhone applications

The Apple company made an extremely surprising announcement last night, telling developers that the prices of applications are going to increase in many countries. All countries that have application prices in euros, plus others around the world, will have applications that cost more than they do now, the change will take place next week.

Romania is of course included among the countries for which this change will be applied, and the minimum price of an application will be 1.09 euros from next week, instead of 0.99 euros now. The decision of those from Apple is based on the fluctuations of the currency exchange rate and, of course, the greed to make more money on the backs of those who use its services.

A few days ago, Apple announced a colossal reduction in the commissions paid to affiliates who promote its applications on the Internet, practically ensuring their flight to other services. Taking out more money after it no longer pays affiliates, now Apple also increases the prices of applications, so it takes money from two sides and thus announces records after records in every fiscal quarter.

All price changes will come into effect from next week, most likely from May 1st, but they will only apply to applications, not to other services or subscriptions from applications. So, what do you think about the gift that the Apple company makes?

"Due to foreign exchange rate changes, prices for apps and in-app purchases (excluding auto-renewable subscriptions) will increase in Denmark, Mexico, and all territories that use the Euro currency in the next 7 days. Auto-renewable subscription prices will not be affected. You can change the price of your subscription at any time in iTunes Connect with the option to preserve prices for existing subscribers."
