More than 30 people bid for the opportunity to have lunch with Tim Cook, and someone decided to pay 688.000 dollars to have the honor of talking with the president of Apple and visiting Apple Park.
This auction has been held annually for several years now, but this year's amount surpassed the previous record, in 2013 someone paid $610.000 for this privilege. The sum of 688.000 dollars collected after this auction will be donated by Tim Cook to the Robert F. Kennedy Foundation, a center that fights for the protection of human rights.
