iPhone 8 – the change for iOS 11 brought by the screen

The iPhone 8 could have a great new function in iOS 11 thanks to the new screen, which can allow the viewing of 2 applications on the same screen.

iPhone 8 it will have, as you already know very well, a new screen with a diagonal of 5.8 inches and a screen ratio of 18.5:9, according to a very important partner of Apple. We are basically talking about an iPhone 8 that will be, in terms of size, larger than the iPhone 7, but which will also display more images on the screen for users around the world.

The change in the iPhone 8 screen ratio compared to the iPhone 7 could also bring a change in resolution, but an additional space on which Apple could display images, or the new virtual Home button. Apart from these changes that will be visible in iOS 11, the Apple company could implement in the iPhone 8 another serious improvement that already exists in the iPad.

More precisely, we are talking about the split view system that the Apple company offers in the iPad, which allows us in iOS 11 on the iPhone 8 to see two applications on the same screen. Of course, the system would only work in landscape mode on the iPhone 8 screen with iOS 11, but it could offer us new productivity functions, as long as the virtual Home button is hidden in the interface.

You can see in the image below how this new function in iOS 11 will look on the iPhone 8 screen, everything should be similar, if the Home button is hidden. At the moment we can activate such a function on the iPhone by jailbreaking, but the iPhone 8 would bring it to us natively in iOS 11, but exclusively on this new Apple smartphone.

Those from Cupertino have so far refused to implement this function in iPhone 7 Plus because the screen would not be large enough for it, but with iPhone 8 things could change. If we take into account the larger screen of the iPhone 8, but also the constant decrease in iPad sales, the Apple company has little reason to keep this feature away from users.

Some rumors that have appeared so far in connection with iOS 11 have announced the possible implementation of this function for iPhone 8, but its appearance seems quite certain. This functionality has existed in the Android platform for some time, so the time has come for Apple to take it over in iOS 11 and iPhone 8, but it remains to be seen what the company will decide.
