iPhone 8 – dimensions and an ugly design change

The iPhone 8 has the dimensions and an ugly design change revealed by images and a sketch stolen by a Foxconn employee.

iPhone 8 today has a new confirmation of the dimensions chosen by Apple for the case, but also an ugly change for its new design. The information would come from people who work on the iPhone 8 production line, and they are quite accurate, so they are probably reliable, especially since the terminal is getting closer to entering test production.

According to these people from Apple's partner companies, the iPhone 8 will have a length of 143.59m, a width of 70.94mm and a thickness of 7.57mm. Comparing it with iPhone 7, it will be 6mm longer, 3mm wider and 0.4mm thicker, so it will be positioned by Apple as an intermediate terminal between iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus.

We already knew that iPhone 8 is thought by the Apple company as a solution for those who want a 5.5 inch screen, but not a very large smartphone. iPhone 8 will have a screen with a diagonal of 5.8 inches, but dimensions very close to those of iPhone 7, not iPhone 7 Plus, so it will be a solution for many Apple fans.

iPhone 8 – dimensions and an ugly design change

The bad part of today's information about the iPhone 8 is based on the fact that they once again confirm an ugly change for the design of the new smartphone. More precisely, we are talking about the fact that the front panel of the iPhone 8 will have a portion of the screen dedicated to the front camera and proximity sensors, ambient light, and what else Apple will include.

Unfortunately, you can see that the iPhone 8 will not have a screen with an even more attractive design if Apple decides to leave that portion with the sensor and camera in the front panel. It will also be quite strange to see how iOS 11 will display information on the iPhone 8 screen since there is a "hole" in the screen that cannot display any element of the user interface.

The good part of these leaks lies in the fact that we no longer see a Touch ID in the iPhone 8 case, it seems to be integrated into the screen by those from Apple. Of course, no one knows for sure whether the iPhone 8 will offer this technology in the screen or the case, but it remains to be seen what else the American company will surprise us with in the fall.
