iOS 11 beta 1 has various performance problems that sometimes spoil the user experience, but in synthetic tests it is as fast as iOS 10.3.2. The animations have also been modified in iOS 11 beta 1 and everything seems to happen much faster than in iOS 10.3.2 in some situations, but it remains to be seen if Apple will leave things like this until the end.
I am very satisfied with the performance of iOS 11 beta 1, without any discussion, but I cannot say the same about the user experience. Still in development, iOS 11 beta 1 still needs work to be stable enough for daily use, but Apple will likely be able to finish everything in time for release.
