iOS 11 has implemented support for augmented reality through a special platform called ARKit, which offers the possibility to apply various virtual objects on top of real ones. In the video clips below you can see what the developers have achieved using only their imagination and the cameras of iDevices running iOS 11.
From fidget spinners, to BB-8 robots, Space Invaders or a variety of creatures, iOS 11 through augmented reality can do a lot on iPhone or iPad. The Apple company said that iOS 11 is the biggest platform for augmented reality, and developers have already started to create applications that benefit from this system.
What we see in the iOS 11 videos below is just a fraction of what iPhone or iPad app developers can create. We are talking here about a very complex system based on augmented reality in iOS 11, and as we get closer to the official launch of the operating system we will see more interesting evidence of its application.
