iOS 11 – how great Augmented Reality is

iOS 11 it will have augmented reality functions implemented by the Apple company for iPhone and iPad, and if you haven't realized it yet, we are talking about something really great. The Apple company will allow us to place virtual objects over images taken in real time by the iPhone or iPad cameras, and this opens up a whole "world" of opportunities for developers and users.

Considering that iOS 11 is being tested in beta version and ARKit is offered for it, developers have already started to create certain applications for augmented reality. They show us to a great extent the enormous potential that augmented reality has for iOS 11 and how much it will change not only the way of using the iPhone and iPad, but also the vision of many about the future.

The other day I presented you a use for augmented reality in iOS 11 that allows replacing a tape measure with a simple iPhone application. Thanks to ARKit from iOS 11, the application with augmented reality allows measuring distances directly with the iPhone camera, and this in the conditions that no other application released so far offers such functionality.

However, the uses of augmented reality are very diverse, and in the video clips below you can see how interesting iOS 11 will be. From simulating airplanes or cars to placing furniture in our homes, or building houses, augmented reality from iOS 11 will give us a very, very different and interesting experience on the iPhone or iPad.
