OnePlus 5 – the embarrassing problem presented as a function

The OnePlus 5 has a problem with the screen, which, although embarrassing, is presented by the OnePlus company as a normal function of the terminal.

OnePlus 5 it has a very strange and stupid screen problem, and in the video clip below you can see it presented and I already talked about it yesterday. We are talking about an embarrassing problem for a smartphone that wants to be premium, but the OnePlus 5 is also much cheaper than a smartphone that is sold by a serious manufacturer.

For this reason, the OnePlus company claims that this problem of the OnePlus 5 is actually something normal and that it is not a manufacturing defect. We are of course talking about the fact that on some screens of the OnePlus 5, an effect of lengthening the interface can be observed during scrolling, some suggesting that the screens would have been mounted upside down in the case during the manufacture of the OnePlus devices.

Responding to the growing number of people who report the problem, those from OnePlus offered a standard PR text trying to "clean up" the image of the OnePlus 5. They claim that all OnePlus 5 terminals benefit from the same "high quality" components and that they received complaints only from a small number of users reporting this device problem.

OnePlus 5 – the embarrassing problem presented as a function

OnePlus claims that this would not be a problem with the OnePlus 5 terminals, and that in fact everything is just natural and normal, because there are no differences between the screens. The reality is that no one said there was any difference between the OnePlus 5 screens, only that some were mounted backwards, and that's where the problems came from, but OnePlus probably won't admit that.

The text from OnePlus to answer the OnePlus 5 problem is very similar to the one provided by Huawei when it was discovered that the units have storage media with different performances. Huawei realized a few days later that it is not nice to lie, and OnePlus will learn "the hard way" that it is not nice to lie to customers who buy the OnePlus 5.

"... the OnePlus 5 uses the same level of high-quality components as all OnePlus devices, including the AMOLED display. We've received feedback from a small number of users saying that at times they notice a subtle visual effect when scrolling. This is natural and there's no variance in screens between devices."

Considering that even the OnePlus 5 review units have the problem described by customers, it is clear that we are not talking about something that is in the imagination of some. Unfortunately, all those who bought OnePlus 5 and have a problem, have to hurry to change their terminals, but this is the risk when you buy a cheap Chinese product that is supposed to be premium.
