Orange, Vodafone, Telekom and Digi Mobil are caught in an extremely intense battle to win new subscribers, and only the operator from RCS & RDS was very successful. Now Orange, Vodafone, Telekom and Digi Mobil are also fighting intensely for government contracts, but those from Telekom have the best chances, especially since they also have the best infrastructure for such a thing.

Orange, Vodafone, Telekom and Digi Mobil together have revenues of over 3 billion euros annually in Romania, so these contracts with the state represent only a diversification of the customer base, not something necessarily necessary for the company.
