Apple - the most Admired and Profitable Company

Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), is the most profitable company on the planet for the second consecutive year, Fortune publishing today a top of the most profitable companies on the globe. Apple occupied the 9th position in the top of the companies with the highest revenues, but in terms of profit we are talking about the best possible positioning, thanks mainly to the iPhone terminals sold to fans.

Apple is placed in the first position in terms of global profitability, and in 9th place in receipts, but comparing only American companies, Apple is placed in 3rd place in receipts. The first 500 companies from all over the world generated together 27.7 billion dollars in receipts and 1500 trillion dollars in profit during 2016, they have 67 million employees in 34 countries.

Apple was surpassed in cash by 8 companies, the first of them being Walmart with 485 billion dollars, more than double Apple's 215 billion. 45.7 billion dollars is the profit of Apple for the year 2016, more than 3 times higher than that of 13.6 billion dollars of Walmart, so high receipts do not necessarily mean that a company has a very high profit from them.

Apple had a 14.4% decrease in profit compared to the same period last year, but even so it kept its first position and is still the most admired company in the world. This listing will help the Apple company to become the first company that has a value of more than 1000 billion dollars based on the stock market capitalization, analysts have been saying for years and years that this will happen.

"The world's 500 largest companies generated $27.7 trillion in revenues and $1.5 trillion in profits in 2016. Together, this year's Fortune Global 500 companies employ 67 million people worldwide and are represented by 34 countries. After more than a decade of solid growth fueled first by the iPod music player and then by the even more popular iPhone, Apple finally appeared to hit a wall."
