iOS – Good evolution in front of Android in T2 2017

iOS had a very good Q2 2017 in relation to Android, according to new data published yesterday by Kantar, a company specialized in analyzing the global smartphone market. According to those from Kantar, iOS experienced substantial increases in important markets for the Apple company, but also some decreases where the Apple company would have liked to see a positive evolution in Q2 2017.

iOS registered increases in market share in Germany, USA, Australia, Japan, Spain and Italy, while in France, Great Britain and China it had a negative evolution. Of all these countries, Japan is the one in which the largest increase in market share was recorded, followed by Australia, and for the second one no one expected such a large improvement in market share .

iOS recorded a total growth of only 0.2% in the top 5 European countries, while Android recorded a growth of 2.8%. If we still look at Australia and Japan, Android lost there 2.9% and 8% of the market shares, while iOS grew by 5.6% and 7.8%, so it had a much better evolution, in Japan the shares of the market of the two operating systems being almost equal.

iOS did not do well in Europe, but in the south-east of the planet things are completely different, there the Apple company is very loved and registering an excellent evolution.
