Instagram announced last night the launch of new types of photo and video galleries through its own social network accounts. More precisely, starting today the company Instagram allows the publication of video clips in portrait or landscape format in the photo galleries that we create within the photo and video sharing network, the change being requested since a few months ago.
In February, Instagram launched the option to combine photos and videos in galleries that are visible on the platform, but the photos and videos had to be visible in square format. Well, starting today Instagram has removed this restriction, so pictures and videos can have any format and will be accepted in galleries where they will be combined into multiple elements that will be visible to us.
Instagram now simplifies the sharing of photo/video content within its network, users not having any gallery restrictions, so they can publish everything whenever and however they want. Instagram has also eliminated the need to choose the format of published photos and videos, so we will no longer have to press the button that displays the format in which photos and videos are published, everything being automatically displayed in the best format.
Instagram has announced the launch of this new function, but it will be effectively available to everyone only in the next few days, after it will be propagated throughout the world.
