Apple TV 5 will be equipped with a Last Generation Processor, according to some information discovered during this day thanks to Apple's iOS 11 GM. According to iOS 11, Apple TV 5 will have an A10 Fusion chip launched by Apple last year together with iPhone 7, which is capable of playing movies in 4K format at 60 FPS on which iPhone X will be able to record them, and which might be available in iTunes.
Apple TV 5 will have practically the exact same A10 Fusion chip as the iPhone 7 Plus because it will also have 3 GB of RAM provided by Apple. We are talking about a high-performance processor that Apple TV 5 will offer for customers who will buy it, it represents a major upgrade over the old A8 chip with 2 GB of RAM implemented by Apple in Apple TV 4 in 2015.

The Apple TV 5 will have this Fusion 10 chip because it also has enough processing power to do HEVC decoding to play 4K content, just like the iPhone 7 Plus. Apple TV 5 is also capable of running applications and games that are available in the AppStore, so processing power is an essential aspect for a product that Apple wants to see in the homes of all its fans.
Apple TV 5 will be presented on September 12 by the Apple company, and the official launch could take place this month, but for now it is not known what price could be charged for it.
