iPhone 8 and iPhone X – The disadvantage of Android

iPhone 8 and iPhone X have a disadvantage compared to Android phones due to the fact that 4G LTE support is inferior to that offered by Apple's competitors.

iPhone 8 and the iPhone X is at a disadvantage compared to Android phones of the moment because Apple has not yet implemented a technology that has been in competing phones for some time. More precisely, we are talking here about support for high-speed 4G LTE networks, iPhone 8 and iPhone X not yet having implemented a technology that Samsung boasted about a few weeks ago when they presented the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

iPhone 8 and iPhone X did not implement support for Gigabit 4G LTE networks, Apple only offers support for 4G LTE Advanced networks in its new phones. More precisely, iPhone 8 and iPhone X will be able to reach speeds of up to 600 Mbps in the mobile networks of global operators thanks to the support for LTE Advanced technology, but they will not offer the performance of phones that support Gigabit LTE.

iPhone 8 and iPhone X will practically not be able to exceed 600 Mbps in 4G in networks that offer support for such speeds, even though Android phones have implemented such support. At the moment there is a very small number of mobile networks that have Gigabit LTE support implemented, but their number is constantly increasing and by next year there will be more, and iPhone 8 and iPhone X will not support their speeds.

iPhone 8 and iPhone X - the disadvantage compared to Android phones

iPhone 8 and iPhone X will have high Internet browsing speeds in the mobile phone networks that support it, LTE Advanced ones being also available in rather small numbers. iPhone 8 and iPhone X will offer much higher speeds than any phone needs, they are mainly useful for video streaming of movies available on Netflix, HBO, Amazon, or any other VOD system.

iPhone 8 and iPhone X will not reach Internet browsing speeds in Romania through 4G networks that exceed 300 Mbps, as this is currently supported by local networks. Of course, this is a theoretical speed, because in reality iPhone 8 and iPhone X will reach maximum speeds of up to 200 Mbps, and this in ideal conditions, because in general the networks are up to 100 Mbps in Romania.

iPhone 8 and iPhone X are not the most advanced mobile phones in terms of support for 4G networks, but at least they emit less radiation than other phones. iPhone 8 and iPhone X will also be launched in Romania by mobile phone operators on September 29/November 3, pre-orders for each of them will be announced in due time by each individual operator.
