Is iPhone 8 Faster than iPhone X in Tests?

iPhone 8 and iPhone X have similar performances, without any of the two phones being faster than the other, as is normal.

iPhone 8 is faster than iPhone X in some performance tests that appeared on the Internet thanks to those from Geekbench and the website with results displayed in real time. In the image below you can see how powerful the iPhone 8 is compared to the iPhone X in the initial performance tests, the differences between the two phones being about 10%, despite the fact that the first one has 1 GB less RAM.

The iPhone 8 would, surprisingly, apparently be faster than the iPhone 8 Plus, which is completely opposite to what we saw for the iPhone 7 series and we did not expect to see now with the iPhone X. According to the Geekbench tests, In some tests, the iPhone 8 has multi-core scores that exceed 10.000 points thanks to the new A11 Bionic chip, the iPhone 8 Plus scoring 200 points lower, the iPhone X being 800 points behind.

The iPhone 8 would be faster with a much smaller difference in the single-core test for the new A11 Bionic chip, and this is perfectly normal, the iPhone X having here only 100 points less. The big surprise comes in the multi-core test for iPhone 8 and iPhone X, especially since last week I had the impression that the results are exactly the opposite for these products, although the identification numbers for the products are identical.

iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X had identical results in the Geekbench tests done immediately after the Apple conference, but now they are presented completely differently. Back then, the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X obtained multi-core scores of over 10.000 points, but now the official Geekbench results are completely different from what was presented to us at that time.

iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X are still equal in the tests you see in the image below, iPhone10,1, iPhone10,2 and iPhone10,3 being the 3 models. Why there are differences between the tests from then and what we see now is difficult to explain, but the performance of the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X definitely fluctuates depending on the applications open in the background and the active functions.

iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X will have, from my point of view, very similar performances, with iPhone 8 as fast as iPhone 8 Plus, in contrast to last year's iPhone 7 series. iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X will not disappoint from any point of view when it comes to performance and will without a doubt humiliate any kind of Android phone they will have in front of them, these having 50% poorer performance.
