iOS 11 – Home Button Lag on iPhone

iOS 11 has a lag in using the Home button on the iPhone to close open applications on phones, the problem being quite strange for Apple.

iOS 11 lags the Home button on some phones iPhone, and the video clip below shows us quite well how this "bug" manifests itself on Apple phones. To be completely honest, I've noticed it since the beta period of iOS 11 and thought it was something that would be fixed by the time the final version of the operating system was released, but it seems that quite a lot of people have it also.

iOS 11 has a delay of several hundredths of a second between the moment of pressing the button to close an application and its effective closing, all depending on the actuation of the command itself. Why there is such a delay between the operation of the command and the effective impact of the application in iOS 11 I cannot figure out, but over time the bug becomes quite noticeable, especially since it is not the only one found in iOS 11.

iOS 11 also lags when playing some sounds, especially for blocking, and in some situations it doesn't even play the sounds for certain functions. All these problems also existed in the beta version of iOS 11, and now they haven't disappeared in the final version and I don't really understand why they still exist, iPhone and iPad users reporting all these problems without Apple solving them.

iOS 11 is far from perfect, but some accuse Apple that this lag for the Home button is something implemented intentionally to make older iPhone models seem slower than they really are. I don't know if this is Apple's intention, or if we are talking about a problem with iOS 11 that will be solved at one point or another, but for now people are starting to complain about the existence of breast.

Have you encountered this lag of the Home button in iOS 11?
