iPhone 8 – Lower sales than iPhone 5S

iPhone 8 would record lower sales than iPhone 5S according to an American company specialized in monitoring the launch of new mobile phones.

iPhone 8 has small sales confirmed by a company specialized in analyzing the number of iDevices activated by users in various periods of time. According to it, the number of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus units is slightly more than half of what was recorded after the weekend of the launch of the series iPhone 7, being less than half of what was recorded for the iPhone 6S series.

iPhone 8 has low sales estimated by everyone anyway, but this American company suggests that they are at the lowest level since 2013, even lower than those of the iPhone 5S. Basically, the American company suggests that the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus sold worse than the iPhone 5S during the launch weekend, but this should be viewed with some skepticism.

iPhone 8 has the estimated sales now by analyzing the total number of active iPhones globally and measuring the percentage of the new model with that of the existing models. Of course, the base of iPhone phones has grown substantially since the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 were launched, so it is normal for the percentage to be lower than in the case of the second, but the iPhone 8 should not have a percentage lower than the first.

iPhone 8 Apple sales

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus with lower sales than the iPhone 5S seems something very hard to believe, but not impossible because the lack of queues in front of Apple stores made us understand that there is a problem. iPhone X is on the minds of all Apple fans, whether they bought the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus, or whether they decided to ignore the new products and wait for the release of the most expensive iPhone model ever released.

iPhone 8 could have lower or equal sales to those of the iPhone 5S, no one knows that, but there is no doubt that they are lower than those of the iPhone 7 series. It is normal to be like this since Apple shared this fall's launch in two separate events with three iPhone models, and of all of them, the most anticipated is not the iPhone 8 series, but the iPhone X.

iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus did not have sales figures announced by Apple, in fact since iPhone 6 Apple has not announced sales for any product launch. In this idea, we will never know an exact figure for the launch of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, but I think there is no person who does not agree with the fact that the sales were lower than those of the iPhone 7 series.
