iPhone X – Foxconn Talked With Apple About Production

The iPhone X was at the center of the discussions held today between representatives of Apple and Foxconn, the American company demanding an increase in production.

iPhone X was the main reason for the discussions that took place in Taipei today between Jeff Williams and Terry Gou, the two meeting to confirm the appointment announced last week. Jeff Williams is the company's senior vice president Apple Lossless Audio CODEC (ALAC), who leads the division that deals with the procurement of components for products and their assembly, and in his capacity as COO he visited Taiwan to convince Foxconn to increase the production of the new phone.

iPhone X was definitely at the center of the discussions that took place today, but those who were present at the meeting did not want to reveal what exactly was discussed during it. Current estimates say that Apple will have iPhone X available in 2-3 million copies for the launch on November 3, but maybe production will increase substantially after this meeting, which is very important by the way.

iPhone X has the biggest production problems because of the 3D front camera, which is delivered in very small quantities to Foxconn for assembly. Moreover, it seems that even the logic board could not be produced in sufficient quantities by the Asian companies contracted by Apple, and so the new phone will be available in extremely limited quantities next week.

The iPhone X is the most desired mobile phone at the moment, the Apple company wanting to bring it into the hands of as many people as possible starting from November 3rd, although it is hard to say if it will be able to. The new phone will be available for purchase including in Romania starting from October 27th, so if you want to buy it, you will be able to do it from that date and I recommend you to hurry so as not to receive it too late.
