Google Pixel 2 has some problems, the phones assembled by the HTC company being delivered to some customers without the Android operating system installed. Yes, you read that right, some customers who bought the Google Pixel 2 complain that they received the phones without the Android operating system installed, something that shouldn't have happened.
Google Pixel 2 basically suffers from an improper process of checking the quality of the phones, or better said, from the complete lack of checking the phones before delivery. Some Google Pixel 2 XL phones delivered to customers display an error message with the text can't find valid operating system and things stop there, because the users don't really have anything left to do.
Google Pixel 2 does not allow the installation of Android even so easily on these units, and the only solution to the problem is the complete replacement of the units received. Google replaces Google Pixel 2 XL phones that don't have an operating system installed, but the lack of a quality check suggests that HTC didn't care too much about the phones.
The Google Pixel 2 XL is the first mobile phone from a major manufacturer to ship without an operating system, but the precedent is not good for Google. Considering that Google wants to become a serious smartphone manufacturer, these problems with Google Pixel 2 need to be quickly forgotten by the company.
